The IPOP convention is Creating a Buzz in The Wrong Circles

ipop-convention

Here we cover the IPOP Convention in Las Vegas, it was formed by ex IMTA model and talent convention, which has also spit out many other modeling convention scams. I attended many of these conventions over the years and I can tell you there is nothing but disappointments once it's over, and in many cases after the first couple days! The parents usually have to accompany their minors to add to the extravaganza of expenses incurred. They suck more blood once the convention starts, after the initial $7,000 per contestant fee, with other rediculous fees for nothing. The agents they will have are questionable at best. The success stories they brag about are manufactured for the hype and do not reflect the true nature of the business, which is to get the most money and start a new convention.

How so many people can be taken in each year is beyond me, with the internet enabling the least computer savvy person to find out in a snap of a finger people's experiences with any kind of model or talent scam.

Check this backstage forum for IPOP Convention reviews And please watch this MSNBC video on these conventions
